Hi,
More information on my previous post: MD5 Calculator and EXE Files
MD5 Calculator handles EXE Files with authentication. It's those that
Windows questions that are not handled.
Thanks,
Harry

It's me again. And I have a solution.
It's a non-problem for the user of the MD5 Calculator.
He needs only realize that Windows is mishandling the Right-Click request for an MD5 calculation.
Windows thinks that a dot.EXE file is to be run; it's not, it's only to be examined.
Windows makes this mistake only if it does not recognize the dot.EXE file [Often], and
yields the message:

"
Do you want to run this file?

Name: C:\Users\etc\andsoforth\ChromeSetup.exe
Publisher: Google Inc
Type: Application
From: C:\Users\etc\andsoforth\ChromeSetup.exe
"

Answer YES: The MD5 calculation is made. The dot.EXE file does not run.

The same situation arises with the Bullzip Copy File Name utility, another Context Menu utility.
