Hi,

i have been using the free bullzip for some time now and i think it is a very good product,

one of the main features i use is the background PDF, i use this to attach a PDF of our company letterhead to excel & word forms,

however the quality of the background image is not very good in the finished PDF

the origional PDF of the letter head is very good quality and even when you zoom in as far as possible there is no pixilation of the letters, however in the finished PDF even without zooming in the letterhead is pixilated and the letters appear joined (they are not when you zoom in)

is there anything i can do to improve this?

I'm having a similar problem. Just set up a new PC (Win7 64-bit), installed Bullzip and tried to print a letter as I usually do, but the quality of the background is terrible. The PDF I use for the background merge (my letterheader layout) is a PDF that was create using Bullzip and when opened on it's own, looks perfect. As soon as I try to use it for the background merge, it becomes very pixelated. I've ramped up the output settings to Prepress and set the resolution of the background image to 14400 - no go - it still looks a mess.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Same problem here, it's like the other pdf gets rasterized in the process of merging.

that is 3 people with the same problem, a admin reply would be appreciated

not a great response time!

due to the lack of support i decided to play with a few settings and think i have found a fix,

in the bullzip program file there is program called settings, this opens a window, go to the merge tab and change the background resolution,

i changed it to the highest number and the background looks good but it has increased the file size.
